Holland Smith is an American actor, director, writer, producer, and model.
Born in 1997 in St. Joseph, Missouri, Holland began her professional career in athletics, representing Junior Team USA in triathlon. Over her career, she earned over 150 podium finishes in sprint and Olympic-distance triathlons, gained national recognition in road cycling and competitive swimming, and qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2017. Her athletic achievements led to a modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models and her relocation to New York City in 2016.
Holland transitioned into acting with national commercial work and expanded into television, feature films, and independent projects. She has trained extensively in New York for over eight years, working with respected coaches in a range of acting techniques. Leveraging her Midwestern roots, she is proficient in motorcycle and horseback riding, weapons training, dialects, and many outdoor sports.
In 2025, Holland will debut as a writer, director, producer, and lead actor with the short film Highly Lethal, produced under her production company, The Metal Shop. Her directing and producing credits also include music videos, television pilots, branded content, and experience as a production manager on various independent film projects.
Her creative work extends to directing advertising campaigns for major global brands and producing editorial content for respected international publications, including Cosmopolitan Serbia, Nylon Español, and others. She has also provided art direction for web design projects.
As a model, Holland has appeared in editorials for Vogue Italia, Elle Bulgaria, Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, Nylon Español, L’Officiel Australia, Women’s Health, and more. Her commercial campaigns include work for Under Armour, Nike, TYR, Sephora, Bombas, Target, and others. She has also walked the runway for leading designers at New York Fashion Week, including Bronx and Banco and Erigo.
Currently, she is actively involved in various boards and committees within the Kansas City area, reinforcing her commitment to local community engagement.
